The Three Simple Secrets To Six Pack Abs

Millions of people around the world are looking for a way to get six pack abs.

They all want the confidence that comes from possessing a firm stomach that will turn heads on the beach – and in the bedroom! However, getting a six pack seems extremely difficult, judging by how few people seem to have one.

You’ve probably seen all the “miracle” ways to get six pack abs, from fat- burning and appetite-suppressing pills and potions to the latest ab exercise machine that twists your body into pretzel shapes. Most people try these methods then quickly give up because they can’t get the advertised results – certainly nowhere near the photos of the perfect bodies on the product.

Here’s the deal: those sleek men and women featured in those commercials likely didn’t get their great six pack abs by using the products they’re trying to to sell. Instead, They worked hard on overall diet and exercise to get in shape – and they live a healthy lifestyle to keep trim.

In fact, it does not matter how many exercises you do on those machines – or indeed if you do an endless number of tiring sit-ups and crunches – six pack abs will elude you unless you are willing to make some dramatic changes to your diet and increase your overall level of exercise. It’s no good developing your six pack if it’s hiding under a layer of body fat!

So don’t obsess solely about your abdominal muscles – focus on the health and fitness of your entire body. Live a healthy lifestyle that includes a good, balanced diet and regular exercise that works your entire body. If you do that, you’re on the way to getting the kind of abs you see on those commercials.

So, forget the exercise contraptions and the so-called miracle pills that will cost you a small fortune without delivering the results you want. There are three easy secrets that will really get you a six pack of abs:

1. Healthy Diet – Eat good quality foods with plenty of vegetables, lean meats and fish and lots of fruit. You body runs best when it is given quality “fuel”.

2. Do Some Weight Training – Even light weight training will strengthen your abdominals, arms and shoulders, lower back and legs. Increasing your lean muscle mass, which requires large amounts of calories to maintain, will keep body fat to a minimum.

3. Aerobic Exercise – Walking, cycling and swimming are just three examples of aerobic or cardio exercise that will get you in shape, burn excess calories and strengthen your heart. No, you don’t have to run a marathon – just get more active and you’ll burn fat and get leaner.

Getting six pack abs WILL take time. Much will depend on what kind of (bad) shape you are currently in and how dedicated you are to get a six pack of abs. Just remember that the best ab workout is a combination of diet AND exercise – as in the three secrets above.

You CAN do it – anyone can have six pack abs with the right attitude!
